Sam is a global healthcare executive with 40+ years of diverse President/CEO leadership experiences in the medical device, clinical service and payer sectors at Hanger, Bayer Healthcare and Johnson & Johnson. He has led companies through organizational and cultural transformations, M&A, and progressive improvements in both the patient and employee experience.
Sam is currently an Operating Partner with Revival Healthcare Capital and serves as an independent board member at HealthPlus Management, Thrombolex, and Austin Achieve Public Schools as well as an advisor to the Dell Medical School, University of Texas Health Catalyst program.
Educationally, Sam holds a B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering and Material Sciences from Duke University, an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and is a Certified Director of the National Association of Corporate Directors.
He is married to a retired physician, has 3 daughters and enjoys food, running, music, travel and mentoring diverse talent.
